Accommodation

The guest accommodation at Astrid Lindgren’s World is built right next to the park. There are several different accommodation options, in houses where the streets and surroundings are inspired by early 20th-century Vimmerby, The Tiny Town, or in small cottages with their own patios near the forest. If you are travelling with a caravan or motorhome, you can stay on one of our caravan pitches just 150 metres from the main entrance to Astrid Lindgren's World.

Houses

In the Tiny Town you can live in comfort among the backstreets and squares, where there is room to play and socialise. The design of the houses is inspired by early 20th-century Vimmerby, the model for the small towns in many of Astrid Lindgren’s books, from Pippi Longstocking to Master Detective Blomkvist. Here, there is a mix of different house types and styles, with options for 6-13 people, each in a unique building.

Cottages

At the edge of the forest, in connection to the Tiny Town, is an area with cottages. Here, you can stay in a Granstugan cottage or an Ekebostugan cottage, our slightly smaller accommodation options. They sleep 4 + 1 persons in 16 sq. m and are equipped with a sleeping area, a kitchenette and a private bathroom with a shower. Both cottage types have their own furnished patios.

Pitches

Right next to the park is our newly built area with pitches. Guests travelling with a caravan or motorhome can stay here in comfort, just 150 metres from the main entrance to Astrid Lindgren’s World. The perfect distance when you are tired after a full day of adventure.
