From summer 2024, in addition to our main entrance, we will offer a separate entrance especially for those staying in our houses and cottages. If you book your entrance tickets as an option in your accommodation booking, you will have access to the entrance directly adjacent to The Tiny Town.
Those with other entrance tickets are required to use the main entrance.

Anyone who books accommodation or an entrance ticket for Astrid Lindgren’s World will receive a discount on their entrance ticket to Astrid Lindgren’s Näs.

If you have not already booked entrance tickets, or an accommodation package that includes entrance tickets, to Astrid Lindgren’s World, you can still get a 25% discount on your entrance ticket to Astrid Lindgren’s Näs upon presentation of your entrance ticket to Astrid Lindgren’s World.

This offer is valid from 17 May to 22 September 2024.

Pitches can be cancelled until 18:00 the day before arrival for a cancellation fee of SEK 175. Upon cancellation, we will refund the entire amount paid minus the cancellation fee. Refunds will be made within a few days, but no later than 30 days. Stays finished early will not be refunded.

Rebooking is possible free of charge up to 14 days before arrival, after which rebooking is no longer possible and we refer you to our cancellation policy.

Check-in

The area with pitches is unmanned. Check-in is conducted via text and automatic barriers. Check-in and check-out information will be sent to the mobile phone number provided at the time of booking.

On the day of arrival, you will receive a text message with check-in details. For the check-in to be accepted, you must provide the vehicle registration number and pay the full cost of the booking.

If your pitch is available before 11:00, you will be notified by text message. If you arrive before the check-in time, you can park free in our main car park. No parking permit is required as parking control is done using the vehicle’s registration number.

Check-out

Before checking out, you will receive another text message with check-out instructions. It is important that you do not check out before leaving the site as the next guest will automatically be informed that the pitch is free.

If the check-out is delayed or cancelled, you will be charged SEK 1,000 per day or part thereof.

If you want to visit the park after checking out, you can park free in our main car park. No parking permit is required as parking control is done using the vehicle’s registration number.

Pitch size

Our standard pitches are 10×7 metres and can be booked via our online system.

If you have a vehicle combination that requires more space, please contact us at bokning@astridlindgrensvarld.se or 0492-798 00 and we will help you book a suitable pitch.

Pitch surfaces

The surface of all pitches consists of stone dust and a small area (4x5m) of artificial grass. For our largest pitches, the surface consists of only stone dust.

Pitching rules

Pitching rules in accordance with the regulations of the fire authority. There are markings on each pitch indicating where the caravan/motorhome should be parked. Cars towing caravans must be parked in the space next to the caravan. Only one car is permitted per pitch.

On all pitches, you may unfold an awning but not set up a marquee or unfold an awning with walls. Freestanding tents next to a caravan/camper are not permitted for fire safety reasons.

Code of conduct

The vast majority of our guests are families with children. We want everyone to be able to sleep well at night and wake up refreshed for a day in the park. Please be considerate and respect that it should be calm and quiet, with no traffic in the area, between 22:00 and 08:00, except for check-in and check-out.

Pets

Pets are welcome on the site but dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

Service building
On the premises, there is a small service building with shower rooms (ladies/gents), toilets, a kitchen, an outdoor sink, and a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. The service building is available 24/7 and is included in the daily rate. However, the laundry room is accessible from 08:00 to 21:00. To get the code for the laundry room, please call the reception at 0492-56 47 70. Laundry detergent is available for purchase in the reception shop.

Reception
The area with pitches is unmanned. To contact staff on site call 0492-56 47 70 or visit us at the guest accommodation in the Tiny Town. For urgent matters after reception opening hours, there is an emergency number to call. The reception opening hours and emergency number can be found on the information building to the right of the service building.

Electricity
All pitches are equipped with electricity posts with CEE sockets 230v/16A providing power output of 3600W. Adapters (EU) are available to purchase at the office at the entrance to the park or from the reception by the guest accommodation.

Fire
There are fire extinguishers available at various points around the grounds. There is a separate emergency entrance in the area of pitches numbers 100-138. For more information see the map of the area.

Shop
On the other side of the main car park for Astrid Lindgren’s World is our guest accommodation, The Tiny Town, with cottages and houses. In the reception building, there is a small shop where you can buy food, drinks, coffee, souvenirs and various necessities.

Breakfast (pre-booking only)
A delicious and filling breakfast buffet is served in one of the park’s restaurants every morning for our guests. You can reserve breakfast at the time of booking or via My Booking up to two days before arrival. Limited places available.

Barbecues
You are welcome to use a barbecue on your pitch, but please be aware of the fire risk and always place the barbecue on the gravelled surface. Disposable barbecues are not permitted in the grounds. Charcoal and lighter fluid can be purchased in the shop by the guest accommodation The Tiny Town.

Grey water/latrines
At the exit, there is a station equipped for emptying grey water, manual and automatic latrine emptying from CamperClean (not fixed tanks) and refilling fresh water. There is a manual latrine emptying station by the service building.

Defibrillator
There is a defibrillator located on the information building to the right of the service building.

Waste sorting at source
Wast must be placed in the appropriate containers. There are two waste sorting stations in the grounds.

Wi-Fi
The site is equipped with free Wi-Fi. You will receive a password via text message after check-in.
