We hope that you will enjoy your stay with us and sleep well through the night. If you have any questions or would like to add any extra options to your accommodation, you are always welcome to contact the reception and we will be happy to help you.

If you notice any faults or shortcomings in your accommodation, please report them immediately to the reception so that we have a chance to fix them. If the reception is closed, document the issue and notify us by 10:00 AM the following day. In case of urgent issues, call the property maintenance service. You can find the telephone number on your arrival envelope.

Allergies
None of our accommodations are allergy-certified. Pets are only allowed in the Aspen apartments. We cannot guarantee completely pet-free/allergy-certified accommodations.

 

Bedding Set
If you have forgotten to bring your own sheets/towels, you can rent them at our reception for 185 SEK per set. You then leave the bedding inside the outer door of your apartment when you check out.

 

Barbecues
There are several communal barbecue areas available for your use. Charcoal and lighter fluid can be purchased at the reception. We recommend using these barbecue areas for everyone’s safety. Disposable barbecues are not permitted on the premises.

 

Breakfast
No breakfast is served at Oxgården. Instead, we direct you to Villa Linnéa restaurant in Astrid Lindgren’s World, adjacent to “Den lilla staden,” where a delicious and hearty breakfast buffet is set up every morning for our accommodation guests. Our breakfast is very popular and often becomes fully booked quickly; if you forget to reserve, feel free to ask at our reception if there are any spots available. Breakfast is primarily served only for guests staying in our guest accommodation. (Note: Entrance to the park from the breakfast service is not possible before the park’s opening time.)

 

Check-Out
Check-out is by 10:00 AM if you have booked final cleaning and by 11:00 AM if you are cleaning yourself. Upon check-out, please leave the key at the reception or in our express drop-box located outside the reception. Do not forget to review the checklist provided to you upon arrival before departure.

 

Cleaning
You are responsible for cleaning your accommodation before departure. Each accommodation comes with its own dishwashing and cleaning equipment. Please refer to the cleaning checklist provided to you at check-in. If you have purchased final cleaning, we will take care of most of it for you, but there are a few items on the checklist that you must complete before departure. Please note that dishwashing is not included in the purchased final cleaning service. If the dishes are not washed when final cleaning is booked, a fee of 300 SEK will be charged. If the accommodation is left uncleaned, a fee of 2000 SEK will be charged afterward.

 

Crib/High Chair
We have a limited number of cribs and high chairs. Contact the reception if you wish to borrow a high chair. A crib can be rented for 150 SEK per night.

Please review the cleaning checklist before departure. Note that there is also a checklist for those who have purchased final cleaning.

 

Entrance Tickets to Astrid Lindgren’s World
If you have purchased your entrance tickets as an add-on to your accommodation booking, then in addition to the main entrance, you also have access to the entrance gate at Villa Linnéa restaurant, which is exclusively for our accommodation guests and is located directly adjacent to “Den lilla staden” (“The Little Town”). With such tickets, you can enter several times per day. All other entrance tickets are valid only at the main entrance. If you need to leave the park during the day via the main entrance, please contact the hosts at the information desk to obtain a re-entry ticket.

 

Express Checkout
If you need to check out early and/or have completed everything regarding your booking, you are welcome to use our express checkout. Simply leave your key in the designated mailbox at the reception entrance.

 

Faults and Deficiencies in the Accommodation

Food
Our apartments are equipped with kitchens and utensils for preparing your own dinner. No meals are served at Oxgården. Instead, we direct you to Villa Linnéa restaurant at Astrid Lindgren’s World, where an evening menu is served on most summer evenings. This can be booked at the time of reservation or at the reception. Opening hours and prices are available at the reception.

 

Freezing Items
You can drop off and freeze your frozen items free of charge at the reception.

 

Hand Truck
If you have a lot to carry when visiting Astrid Lindgren’s World, you can rent a hand truck at the reception, which you then return at Oxgården. There are also hand trucks available for rent inside Astrid Lindgren’s World for on-site use only.

Parking
As an accommodation guest at Oxgården, you can park for free in the designated parking area during your check-in period. If you plan to visit Astrid Lindgren’s World on your departure day, you may park for free at the main parking lot of Astrid Lindgren’s World. You will receive a parking ticket for that lot at the reception upon check-out. If you are traveling with multiple vehicles, the same terms apply to all cars.

 

Pets
Pets are only allowed in the Aspen apartments. Out of consideration for allergy sufferers, the other apartments and the reception area are pet-free.

 

Shop
At the reception, we offer a small selection of items to supplement your needs. This includes basic breakfast supplies, toiletries, ice cream & candy, coffee, beverages, and more. If you need to make larger purchases, there are well-stocked grocery stores about a 5-minute drive from Oxgården.

 

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in any of our apartments or communal areas. Please use our designated smoking area located near the parking lot.

 

Waste Disposal
There are two designated areas for waste disposal at Oxgården. These are marked on the map on our website as well as on your arrival envelope.

Other – Rules

  • The number of guests booked for the accommodation is also the number, among other reasons for safety, that are allowed to stay overnight. If additional guests are expected, please notify the reception.
  • Oxgården is a family establishment. Between 22:00 and 07:00, all guests must show the utmost consideration and maintain silence toward other guests.
  • Pets are only allowed in designated accommodations. Violations, which may require cleaning, will incur a fee of 5,000–10,000 SEK. All animals must be leashed on the premises.
  • We cannot guarantee completely pet-free/allergy-certified accommodations.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in all accommodations and premises. Violations, which may require cleaning, will incur a fee of 5,000–10,000 SEK.
  • As a guest, you are responsible and liable for any damage to the property or furnishings that occurs during your stay. In the event of lost keys requiring a lock change, you will also be held liable.
