Fredensborg is a stately mansion dating back to 1875. The manor is wonderfully situated in a scenic environment near our swimming and fishing lake Gissen, 10 km south of Vimmerby. Boats can be borrowed free. There is also mini-golf, tennis and other activities.

Our room

Our family rooms are located on the ground floor of the conference area and it will be close to our manor park. There, the children have their own playground and we also prepare an indoor playroom. Our fine restaurant serves good food for young and old.

We are a family-run hotel in the centre of Hultsfred with a beautiful view of Lake Hulingen and only 15 minutes from from Astrid Lindgren’s World. Every time you visit Hotell Hulingen we hope you will discover something new.

Our family rooms are double rooms for 2-5 people. These rooms are perfect for the family, where the children sleep in a comfortable sofa bed while the parents sleep in a double bed, in these rooms there is also an extra bed to fold up if you need for a fifth person. Welcome to the four-star Hotel Högland in Nässjö. We are located about an hour’s journey from Astrid Lindgren’s World and during your journey to or from you you will pass both Mariannelund and Noisy Village.

Central location

Hotell Högland is located in the centre of Nässjö. It is close to a beautiful town park with a playground and wonderful nature. If you’re in need for some retail therapy, there are a number of shops to choose from, right around the corner from Hotell Högland .

Our rum

The hotel has 112 renovated rooms, several family rooms. The rooms are non-smoking and equipped with free Wi-Fi and a number of TV channels. In the summer, there is both a playroom and a quiz round. The children’s treasure chest is ready at check-in. There is also the opportunity to swim in our whirlpools after a day of fun at ALV.

Good to know

In addition to breakfast, our restaurant serves both à la carte and children’s menus. Between 18.00-20.00 we have happy hour prices with 20% off all food.

Vimmerby Vandrarhem

Vimmerby Vandrarhem is Vimmerby’s nearest hostel. It is located in the centre of town, right next to the Travel Centre with its train and bus connections. In just a few minutes you can walk to the town centre and the shopping area, which is heavily concentrated around the main square – from there it is about a ten-minute walk to Astrid Lindgren’s World.

Our accommodation options

The hostel has 19 rooms housed in a nice old granary with very special architecture. We offer a large number of rooms, a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering, fresh toilets and showers and a large lovely terrace where you have access to a barbecue during warm summer evenings.

Central location

Vimmerby Hostel is located right next to Vimmerby Travel Centre with arriving trains and buses and is housed in a fine old warehouse building. Good parking facilities are available adjacent to Vimmerby Hostel.

KustCamp offers the closest campsite and cottages to Astrid Lindgren’s World when you want to stay by the sea. 45 km from Astrid Lindgren’s World you will find our four-star family campsite and cottages, set in wonderful surroundings by the sea.
