Here comes Pippi Longstocking!

Pippi's father has been swept away at sea and disappeared, but Pippi doesn’t believe he’s drowned. It only makes sense that he’s washed up on an island and become king there. And that's exactly what Pippi thinks. Miss Prysselius and the police officers Kling and Klang, on the other hand, believe that Pippi has just made up the story about her father, and that this small orphaned child needs to be taken care of. They therefore make a concerted effort to take Pippi with them away from Villa Villekulla. Little do they know that the ship ‘Hoppetossa’ has just sailed into the harbour with a long-awaited captain and crew on board.
