Ronja the robber’s daughter

In Matt’s Fort you can experience how the robbers live, hear them sing their songs and join in when they plan their robberies and plundering. Ronja and Birk meet every day in Matt’s Forest but they usually stay close to the fort, and if you keep your eyes open you’ll probably see them.

Stäng
Rasmus and the Tramp

Rasmus and Paradis-Oskar wander along the roads in Astrid Lindgren’s World from the start of the season and can pop up almost anywhere. The best place to meet them is by Rasmus’s barn, where anyone who wants to can try jumping in the hay in the hayloft.

Stäng
Pippi Longstocking

This is where Pippi lives, all by herself in a big yellow house called Villekulla Cottage. Sometimes Dunder-Karlsson and Blom come to try and steal Pippi’s bag of gold coins. Right next to Villekulla Cottage there is a lake on which Captain Longstocking has moored his ship Hoptoad.

Stäng
Mardie

It is here in Junedale that Mardie has her moments. It is here that she and Lisabet play, climb trees and have a picnic on the woodshed roof, and it is here that she and Abbe visit Count Kråk in the wash house in the middle of the night.

Stäng
The Brothers Lionheart

If you would like to meet Jonathan and Skorpan and maybe help them in the fight against Tengil and his soldiers, you first have to enter Wild Rose Valley where Tengil’s men guard the gates. If you know the password it’s not a problem. Otherwise Jonathan Lionheart will probably come and whisper it in your ear.

Stäng
Karlsson on the roof

Lillebror and his family live in Vasastan. So does Miss Bock who looks after him, and up on the roof in a small yellow house that’s where Karlsson on the roof lives. If you want and dare you can climb up and see how he lives.

Stäng
That Emil

Here you can experience a farm as it looked at the turn of the century, stroll among the hay fields and hundred-year-old oak trees, enjoy the nature and look at the animals. Just like in the rest of the park, all children can play to their heart’s content in Katthult.

A real adventure

It can be a big experience for small children to be at the centre of everything that is happening, with their favourite characters so close they can touch them. These are things that children can experience here in Astrid Lindgren’s World. Between the performances, you can meet all the characters in their own settings. It is the meeting between the children and Astrid Lindgren’s characters that is the big adventure and what makes the visit really memorable.
