Information about covid-19
We have today decided to postpone the seasonal opening of Astrid Lindgren’s World
The government’s decision to ban public gatherings and public events of more than 50 people does cover Astrid Lindgren’s World, but out of consideration for our guests and to help reduce the spread of infection, we have decided to postpone the seasonal opening until further notice.
When do you think you will be able to open?
We cannot currently give a date. We are following developments day by day and are prepared to act on the recommendations of the government and the Public Health Agency. We hope to be able to welcome our guests as soon as possible.
What about refunds for accommodation bookings?
As we currently don’t know when we will be able to open, refunds for accommodation bookings will be made after the date of your expected arrival and not before 15 May. Due to the high volume, please be patient as it may take 5-10 working days for refunds to be made. Guests who have a booking will be contacted by our booking staff.
What about refunds for tickets?
If you have bought tickets, you will be contacted by email after 15 May. This applies primarily to pre-season tickets (15 May-11 June).
What about refunds for annual cards?
Annual card holders are our most loyal guests, and it is important to us that you are satisfied. Vi therefore ask that we can get back to you about the handling of any refunds when we know which date we will be able to open.
