Pippi gets a visit from thieves

Pippi Longstocking lives on the outskirts of the Tiny, Tiny Town in an old, dilapidated house. She is nine years old and lives there all alone with her horse and her monkey Mr Nilsson. One day, two poor vagabonds called Dunder-Karlsson and Blom come by. They were only planning to knock on the door and ask for a sandwich, but they are caught by surprise when they see a little red-haired girl sitting all alone counting money. They don’t realise that the ‘Mr Nilsson’ Pippi is talking about is just her little monkey; they think it's the master of the house called Nilsson and decide to wait until both he and Pippi have gone to bed. Then they will sneak back to get their hands on Pippi’s trunk with all those gold coins in it. But what they don’t know is that Pippi is actually the strongest girl in the world!
