In vielen ihrer B\u00fccher kommen Kleinstadtidyllen vor, die vom Vimmerby ihrer Kindheit inspiriert wurden. Hier gibt es den Laden, in dem Pippi 18 Kilo S\u00fc\u00dfigkeiten gekauft hat, die kleine Gasse B\u00e5tsmansbacken, in der Kalle Blomquist herumschlich, das Haus des B\u00fcrgermeisters \u2013 den Borgm\u00e4starg\u00e5rden -, in das Michel w\u00e4hrend einer Feier auf seinem Pferd Lukas geritten kam, und den Marktplatz, auf dem Polly Patent ihre Pfefferminzbonbons verkauft hat.<br
